Xbox Game Pass 4+

One of the features of the Xbox platform, remotely install games away from your console , manage storage , access rewards scheme , play games on the cloud if you have a good stable connection and have lots of data if on LTE network, both this and the Xbox app are very useful tools that between both you can interact with friends , manage your console , purchase and download games , message friends , only downside is that with this infrastructure and connectivity there is still a complete lack of first party games , the ones that are available are vastly inferior in quality to the PlayStation , even though the chipset in the PS5 is a generation behind the Series S/X it absolutely outperforms both consoles . Hopefully this will change especially after the absolute tragedy that is Redfall , or Dredfall which is a more accurate representation of the utter train wreck of a game that pretty much has destroyed even the most hardened Xbox gamer confidence , has made the platform a laughing stock in the whole gaming community ! So give us something to use this great structure on , because without the games what is the point of this slick access anywhere interface if there is nothing on it that shines on it ,

Clean and appealing interface that as you might expect is console focused, pc users are something of an afterthought. as any searched for content will default to a console version of the game, that cannot be downloaded and the pc version will be somewhere at the bottom of the search results, only a upright box to indicate pc compatibility and any remote downloaded will default to drive-c or boot drive regardless of the default drive set on your gamepass pc app.

This is not a nock against Microsoft, this app and game-pass shows a lot of promise, would like a clean up of the Microsoft rewards section in regards to daily weekly and monthly quest, as it stand it takes multiple taps of the display to reach full summary of progress on any quests, and as you might expect many quest cannot register on pc but can be sidestep with the use of x-cloud where all achievements are tracked accurately, but some are not achievable such as download 5 games on the go or remotely via app, simply will not register on pc.

Overall good experience that needs tightening up.

This app is great it’s easy to use and functional being able to download games from your phone to your console was pretty mind blowing and being able to look at new games and see ones that will be coming soon saves a lot of time than having to go onto your Xbox every time it’s great knowing that every time you login to the app you get points it might not be much but it’s satisfying to the amount of points your get over a period of time I highly recommend getting the app if you have the game pass which I also highly recommend getting :))
